Question abut mass lock

Postby Fantum12000 » Fri Feb 19, 2021 4:15 am

I think this is the right place for this but if not please let me know.

I'm running an anaconda, was doing a trade mission when an npc interdicted me with a anaconda. My question is my FSD was slowed by a mass factor of 23 (for context mine is just over 1,300 tons) so does that mean the npc's anaconda weighed more than mine?

Do't know if anyone has answered this already but yes. Any ship with more mass than yours will affect your fsd.

Not really linked to hull or current mass, they basically set the values for each ship, not sure if there is a relation to actual mass. I read a Thon can Mass lock a 9? Equal mass will lock each other and cannot low wake until you move apart, but I've been wrong before why start today? :)
