I had not formed a plan as such, I would say though that going in small groups and/or meeting up at waypoints would be the way to go. We can discuss targets once the beta2 is out.
I would envisage that most others may explorer each system in turn as they expand out, if fuel scoops are in Beta 2 then I'd jump as far out as possible then work my way back, as long as I don't get lost.
I'm totally open to ideas, plans, strategies to do this.
Let see if we can get the Mobius Group on the map, maybe a home world for us - we must be one of the largest groups outside of 'All'

My thoughts are this. If a fuel scoop gets released with the Beta 2 upgrade, then we can select waypoints before we start and then go out as far as we feel comfortable going.
If they don't get released, or if there are bugs when they do get released, then I suggest meeting up at a populated system close to the edge of explored space and then going out as far as we can. The only problem I see with that is that the ships ranges seem to be wrong (at least from what I have read in the main forums) and on Reddit, so it might need a little more planning
and what a shock 
for any attacking Pirates!
