Wow, that takes me back. I still remember that immense feeling of
SMUGthe day I got a 64k ISDN line fitted and didn't need to worry about this any more.

Modem string to disable Call Waiting. I hated Call Waiting. Cost me more in LD recalls than I ever paid for or used it.

That reminds me of when I would run around the house pleading my family to not use the phone for a while since I was trying to download new drivers for my 3dfx voodo card. And then keeping my fingers crossed so hard they would turn white hoping nobody would call during my download..

What's better is when you're the middle of a multi guild raid on Veeshan in Everquest and your mother picks up the phone so she can make sure it works....
Needless to say, I rage quit EQ that day. until a second phone line was installed >:)
