I sent a request but did not realise I needed to post here too, so fixing that now

The new faction group is not listed as a option on the new 'join' form, so I'm assuming that sending an in-game request to join the PG is the right way to go. If I hear otherwise, I'll post more info here.

Posting a join request in this thread will not get you in the PG, AFAIK.

Was everyone to fill out that new form? I filled it out today and felt I was applying for the fist time. I thought maybe it entered us all in a spread sheet or something.

For players that are new to Mobius private groups, they are asked to send an in-game join request as well as filling out the Google form. Yes, it adds all respondents to a spreadsheet, which will make the admins lives much easier going forward.

Players that want to add the Mobius Factions PG, simply need to send an in-game join request for that PG.

they also need to fill the form in so i know the request is coming from an existing member. this is especially important if your cmdr name contains special characters as it makes it possible to look up cmdr names in our members list to check they are already group members, and have a quick look via our facebook page and forums to see what channel the member is active in.

Thanks for the correction Andy. That's different information than I was given by another admin.
