Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

With ship naming coming real soon^TM, I though maybe we could talk about a semi-official ship prefix for the Order of Mobius. In addition to showing support for OOM, a prefix will allow popular ship names to be slightly more unique (probably won't help if you choose Serenity or Rocinante though). Prefixes should be completely optional for all players of course.

Here's a few ideas to start with:

• MS Mobius Ship
• MSS Mobius Space/Star Ship
• MSV Mobius Space Vehicle
• OMS Order of Mobius Ship
• OOM Order of Mobius
• OOMS Order of Mobius Ship

• MOBIUS for the ship ID, no prefix for the ship name.

If you have any other suggestions, I can add it to this list. Perhaps we could eventually have a poll or some other way to decide on which one to adopt (with Mobius himself or someone official having the final say, in case we get a Boaty McBoatface type situation). For now though, let's see what Mobius members think about this idea, and see what suggestions come up.

Yeas, I'd be proud to have my ship prefixed with möbius - as above - I prefer OMS as it sounds more official imo see what others say on this

I like this too. And maybe add just OMS (Order of Mobius Ship) if you don't want to but your ship in a specific box

OP has been updated with the suggestions. I'm assuming that MOO (Mobius Order O?) and HESTKUK (Horse ...thingy) weren't intended to be taken seriously (but they're free to use of course ).

Currently I'm leaning towards two short, simple ones: MS or OMS.

I like YOURD34D's idea of function based prefixes, but think it would only work if there were enough Mobius ships using them to make each prefix common on its own. Therefore I'd probably just stick with OMS which seems to be the frontrunner at the moment.
