Exioce what next?

Postby Judson » Wed Jan 20, 2016 1:31 pm

I thought I would start a new thread with the above title to start the discussion. Obvious to perhaps everyone reading these posts that we just do OoM missions in Exioce to up our influence. What may not be obvious is the fact that we are now at odds with Exioce Allied PLC and have left crimson and the other two minor factions behind. It goes without saying that no trading should take place within Exioce as Allied PLC control all the stations and this would help their influence not ours.

Basically we need to encourage as many Cmdrs as possible to do those OoM missions until we get to the next phase..

Current standing is :-

Allied = 58.0%

OoM = 23.4%

Can you only do OoM missions now in Exioce?

Hunting wanted ships and cashing in the bounties would help Allied PLC I think, even if you limit yourself to all non-OoM ships. Or only cash in the bounties from OoM itself in the Azrael system. I want to help and I do like doing missions, but I want to make sure that I'm not hindering the process with my good intentions.

Influence is gained through missions, bounty hunting and trade so missions and bounty hunting wanted Allied would help where trade would have a negative effect.

Bountyhunting benefits the ruling faction. So its better to do that in Azrael. You could attack non-Order ships (Trader and Police) in Exioce as this would harm the ruling faction.

So did I understand correctly?

In Exioce:
Do:
  • Missions for the Order
  • Destroy non Order ships
Don't:
  • Destroy Order ships
  • Trade
  • Cash in non Order bounties
  • Sell Exploration data

In Azrael:
Do:
  • Missions for the Order
  • Trade
  • Sell Exploration data
  • Cash in Bounties
  • Destroy non Order ships
Don't:
  • Destroy Order ships

Almost ;)
Do -not- destroy non Order ships in Azrael (except those with a bounty) as that harms the Order (as ruling faction)

and remember that hunting down traders in Exioce will put a Bounty on your head which makes completing missions for the Order more difficult.

edit: you, Wolf, know the bounty part of course :)

I stand corrected. I think Serenus is correct in the fact that any bounty hunting in Exioce will only benefit Allied at this time!

I just successfully completed an Order mission which I picked up at Exioce. The success message at the delivery point indicated that the OOM is at a boom state in Exioce - which means that trade missions will have a 2x effect on the Order's influence there.

The Order is in a Pending Boom state (for some while now). So the missions have the usual effect for now.
(Regular trading in Exioce will not benefit the Order. We need a station in Exioce for that. Just a matter of time) ;)

Unfortunately it is Allied that is in boom state, OoM is in a None State.
