Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

The purpose of this poll is to see what the general feeling is for the next significant action for the Order, and in keeping with our general democratic theme we are asking you, the players, what we should do.

As you'll know the order has been in game for a little while now, and many Commanders have contributed their time and effort to maintaining our high influence levels.

However, time may be upon us to start spreading our control, and this gives us a few options (hence the poll).

Each of these activities will require some coordination and effort -

- Taking over control of another station in Azrael will involve lowering our system influence whilst raising the influence of the other stations controlling faction until the two are equal. This will result in a civil war with CZs, which we must then win.
This will basically mean running missions for a specified faction for a specific period of time, then at the appropriate point fighting in CZs.

- Taking over control of another system will involve us maintaining our high influence level (above 70%), whilst at the same time avoiding slipping into states like civil unrest, lockdown, and Boom.
This will basically mean hunting pirates in Azrael, whilst avoiding things like smuggling, until the BGS clicks us into expansion, then running OoM missions in a specified system until our influence there rises to a level to create a war (CZs), which we must then win.

Of course, given the current state of the BGS, the other option is to do nothing at this time (except keep control of Rafferty's Mobius station).

I've voted for 'expansion', as it seems to be:-

a) the easiest to co-ordinate
b) the least likely to backfire on us &
c) the most varied & FUN

I voted for taking over Guth dock, with the Azreal Mafia now bust (0%) it shouldn't be too hard to do.

Sadly, you don't get the choice.

I vote for expansion too, but i want The Order to occupied all the station in azrael system first (there can be only one order at every station in a system, that is The Order of Mobius), after that, expand to other system.

I voted option 4......

Not sure what's happening at the moment........

Taking the other stations will require you to level OoM's influence with the current owners to initiate a conflict/election, once the BGS is fixed. Makes no difference if the owners are at 0%, stupid mechanism I know but that's how it is.

It's insane to deliberately lower our hard-won influence in order to gain a station.

IMO gaining another system(s) will be MUCH more useful, satisfying, inspiring & - as always -FUN.

Looks like we've clicked over into expansion anyway, doesn't of course mean we need to do anything about it of course, but keep an eye out for OoM missions in other systems and report back.

If the poll goes in favour of expansion we'll need to pick a system to focus on.

Update - have seen OoM missions in Exioce
