If the poll goes in favour of expansion we'll need to pick a system to focus on.

Expansion target systems are chosen by the BGS, which one it's going to pick isn’t always clear, it appears to be dependant on distance, number of factions already present etc etc etc.

One of our expansions ignored the closest system and chose the second closest. We assume this is because the closest systems had more factions already present, one of which was expanding from another system.

You won't have to lose RM. Just level influence with the owning faction of the other stations, this will spawn a civil war or an election (depending on the faction types) Once this has spawned you then switch back to supporting OoM and damaging the current owner through combat actions, combat missions and abandoning their combat missions.

Ok, so it seems that the poll is becoming a moot point, I'll leave it running in case by some fluke there is a dramatic shift of opinion, but it seems that the general consensus is go for Exioce, oh well, you try to be democratic and then something shiny appears (joke btw).

One hypothetical question - if we did go for Guth Dock, and put us saintly, goodly, persons in charge - what would happen to the Black Market there?

Having a Black Market in Azrael is, err, useful, from time to time....
