Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Some strategical questions on PP:

1. Did someone actually defect to another power, and how many merits are carried over to the new power?
2. Can a Power Specific weapon, after defecting from the power that offers it, be "transported" from ship to ship via selling and rebuying it at the same station?

On another note, sounds like a good idea and I look forward to hearing how your testing goes

I haven't defected but have left and re-pledged to A L-D. I did this because I wanted to take advantage of the large ship discount with the Utopians without getting hunted down all the time.

Don't forget that you'll need to be with Patreus for a while to build up to get the weapon and that will mean a longer time that you are on his wanted list when you leave.

I have defected a few times and since I suck at pp (I just hate them all so much, I just cant find myself helping any of them)
After defecting you will sometimes have an Adjuster npc supposedly tasked to hunt down traitors, they vary from eagles to conda's and do not have bounty to begin with, in other words you need to have report crimes on and have them shoot you once before you can kill them and not get bounty yourself.
