Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Through Passenger missions and Mining Ive hit Elite in trading. I've been playing for 3 years and I never thought I would make elite in anything anytime soon. i havnt been paying attention to my trade rank lately and after dropping off 61 tonnes of Painite for 47 mil I got a message saying ive been granted a permit for the founders world and that ive been promoted to Elite in trading!!!!
the problem is even tho i got a message saying I got said permit... I cant plot a route to the founders world... says i need a permit
anyone know why this is happening?

try logging in and back out of the game, sometimes rep changes dont apply straight away like with the sirius corporation where i had to log-out a few times for my permit to sirius to appear properly.

What Darthtool said. Relog a couple times and see if that helps.

Permits and engineer invites can be wonky sometimes.
