Flying without due care and attention ...

As I left a station yesterday I found myself behind a Python which went through the airlock with its landing gear down. I'd never noticed this before. It was strange. I was transfixed.

I accelerated through the airlock myself and the Python either didn't move like I was expecting it to, or it made an unexpected move, and we had a little bump. Only then did I look at the radar. A hollow box. The first (and only) one I've seen since playing in Mobius.

We had a brief chat (can't, for the life of me, remember the commanders name) and I apologised for the bump and we went on our respective ways. I now check the radar more often - just in case. It's difficult enough out there without slightly mental Cobra pilots ramming everything in their path.

Let's be careful .....

Fly safe, use minimum seperation between ships at all times :)
Where are you flying?

I have had a couple of bumps with NPC ships pulling strange maneuvers right in front of me, seen more than a few NPC ships tangled with various parts of the stations, I recon they must have been overdoing the Onion Head

I have a screenshot somewhere where a very big NPC is stuck at the entrance with a tiny little free space left for me to squeeze my little ship out of the station. I managed to do it without hull damage. :)

I've bouncing around the systems near Vucub Huan, having fun at nav beacons. Give me 2 or 3ls-worth of space and you should be safe :)

It's a bit ironic that I should be admitting to this just a couple of days after making comments about Cmdr de Carabas' lack of flying ability. That'll teach me ;)
