It was more than three years ago, completely forgot how :S

Found it:

Select "Commander" at the top, then "Misc & Signature" at the bottom left.

Hmm, seems I have been heavily demoted for some reason.

Running on a Dell G5 I7 8750 GTX 1060.
Slight undervolt on the CPU & overclock on the GPU.
Not that it needs it.

Mouse & keyboard setup.
Razer Naga Trinity mouse with multi macro, mapped my speed shifts / weapon switches for easy access.

Keyboard and Mouse, and gotta say, I'm quite happy with it. There loads of functions in this game and keyboard allows easy access hotkey for all of them and in my reach, while mouse is quite smooth way to control the ship movements.

Gotta question though: I mostly fly FA-on, but I'd really like to get more accustomed with FA-off. With my regular mouse settings, controlling ship with FA-off is virtually impossible, but when I switch Relative Mouse on, it becomes very easy and comfortable. Problem is, however, that with Relative Mouse on, FA-on controls become quite messy.

is there a way to use hybrid flight scheme with KB+M? Maybe I can somehow turn on and off Relative Mouse along with FA-off key or something? I mean there should be people who use hybrid flight model, right?...

Those are pictures of some amazing setups! I'm using an X-52 HOTAS, VoiceAttack and just started using a touchpad for additional command mapping. My HOTAS is at the same height as the arms of my chair which works for me without strain.

I'm liking it a lot.
And yup.
Full head of hair, and no mountain man beard.

Spend more time in DCS these days than in elite.
Where I use the throttle a lot more than that second stick :/
I'm also a touch less crazy there too, cause well pulling 7g turn in a Harrier and your likely to rip a wing off.
Heck just go fast enough and you rip a wing off.

Love the extra challenge of thrust limits as well.
Need to pay attention when you can only bottom the throttle for five minutes before you loose your only engine :)

Virpil has swapped that current throtle though, the one I have is no longer in production and the new one got some more hats and whatnot, as well as an analog stick on the index finger.

I can honestly recommend the new rift as well.
Got mine on wednesday, but I'm having some cable issues. Well I'm 90% sure it's a cable issue.

But besides that it's amazingly more clear, especially in dcs.
But comparing dcs and elite is like comparing Lego Duplo with mechanical engineering.

Many suggestions have been made for relative toggle feature (all ignored) but I would favor per ship settings and full alternate flight toggle not just relative.

As for hybrid schemes some of the people I know have two sets of controls, one KB/M for FAO and one like a game controller or joystick for supercruise and they jump back and forth. All those are fully FAO in normal space though, not sure what the togglers do.

Thanks for the input. What a bummer tho... I mean they already have Alternative Flight Controls section, why not add Toggle hotkey for Relative Mouse? People would just bind it to same key as FA-Off and everyone would be happy, eh?
