I have completed my Ultimate Cockpit setup.. Voice attack, foot pedals, two flight sticks and Oculus Rift.. I really love me some Elite Dangerous

About the same.
$2500 computer.
Rift.
$1300 HOSASAT (hands on stick and stick and throttle) and rudders of course.

CoolerMaster Devestator II keyboard and Zalman ZM-M200 mouse.
Would want a HOTAS though for BMS, DCS, IL-2 Sturmovik, and such if I played those.

Moved back to Xbox Controller after my Thrustmaster HOTAS was giving me severe arm pain.
I'll probably stick with it. Takes up a lot less space and makes driving the SRV much more enjoyable.

HOTAS on a desk? if so yea.. I used mine like that like 30 minutes when i first got it and already it started to hurt.
They really have to be used low as seen in game on the pilot's seat. Once installed on the chair's armrests, it's super comfortable

Same here, hotas on desk = pain.
The system I have pictured over is nearly a foot lower than my normal desk height.

I have my Dual hotas sticks level with my arm rests on my chair... I placed them on the slide out keyboard tray . i used to get a slight strain in my shoulder but i got used to it... as for driving I have a steering wheel that fits between my sticks... some day ill take a pic of it all
