Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Planning to go out and visit some famous Nebulae around the bubble. Curious, are there any Nebula left not fully explored yet? Wanna get my nametag on some of em, and put my DSS to use, which have been gathering dust for quite a while now.
As a side question, for some reason, I get pretty significant performance drops, down to 10-15 FPS on Galaxy map and during FSD jump only around Nebula, for example, around Maia system, which I frequent quite often, though I don't have any issues inside those systems in SC or in space. Is that me, or it's a common issue?

Also planning to get all discoveries unlocked, eventually. Interested in Thargoids mostly. For some reason, I don't think I was able to Composition Scan Scavengers in my SRV, what am I supposed to use? Do I use Xeno Scanner for each Scout/Interceptor discovery, or Composition scanner works too?

What beautiful spots, not too far from bubble, you would also recommend to visit? Maybe with some unique stellar phenomena?

One suggestion I saw for finding interesting things around the bubble is to look at the sites NPCs are requesting to visit in the passenger mission section. If it sounds interesting it is often a site I enjoy seeing as well.

It's unlikely that any significant objects remain undiscovered, particularly nebulae as they are such obvious targets. If you travel directly towards a nebula you will also find most of the systems you pass through have also been tagged.

I spent some months in the Tenebrae region, which you would have thought was unexplored. There were many systems where I was the discoverer, but when I got towards the edges of the spiral arm, where there is often just one star to jump to, I found that other explorers had already been testing the boundaries.

If you're looking for virgin territory, you have to find space that has no targets that have outstanding features. There are still millions to find.

Just a heads up, looks like Composition Scanner works fine on Goids, just had some messed up firegroups previously...

On my way in and out of Colonia, i found significant number of completely undiscovered systems, following pretty standard neutron highway routes, that's why I was hoping... Guess my best bet would be just to randomly pick Nebula, and hope to find anything undiscovered. Though I'm pretty sure I can find handful of unmapped systems there yet. Wouldn't hurt to try, eh?
