Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

For the last 10 days I have been stuck with my current Federal rank, because I get offered the same type of mission where you need to go fetch combat stabilisers etc. That is the type of mission that recruits you into the Federal Navy as many of you problably know. It's like the game doesn't register that I am Chief Petty Officer or even that I am in the Federal Navy in the first place. Has anyone else in here experienced something like that?

Unfortunately the military missions don't really get any better. You have to keep doing the crappy fetch and carry mission to get promoted. Eventually you get one assassination mission to take out a general and you think "maybe the missions will get better now" but sadly they don't. You go right back to fetch and carry missions. The military missions are in my view hugely disappointing. I've made it to "Baron" in the Imperial Navy by killing 1 rogue General and the rest has been either delivery jobs or fetch and carry. Dull, very dull.

The military progression missions may have been disabled. I haven't seen one in a while.

Before I got to Baron, they used to pop up several times a day. To the point that many of us reported on FD's forums that the progression seemed way too quick and easy. And now, more and more people report that they seem to be stuck at their current rank and don't get progression missions anymore. I suspect that FD temporarily disabled them until they're fixed or improved.

I ranked up to Outsider in the Empire last night by doing a fetch mission...

By the way, the text in the go fetch this or that missions addresses me as if I have never even been in the Federal Navy before. It tells me not to blow my career up, before it has even begun...or something like that. But I am already a Chief Petty Officer and I did have a mission where I had to kill a general and then a mission where I needed to kill some pirates as a part of some covert operation in the sector. But now I just get that recruting mission and am told not to blow my career up. It seems that the military missions don't function as supposed to, like you indicate.

I got to Knight of the Empire, and I haven't seen any missions since. I tried going to Achenar to see if that would help but so far it has turned up Blank.
