I've been compiling a list of funny/amusing pilot names. If you have a some good names not already on the list, post a pic and I'll add it to the album. I'll even add you as a contributor! Go, laugh, share, add.

Fitting that she's racing around in a python.

I killed Duane Dibley last night. The Duke of Dork.
Followed quite quickly by adding Robert Paulson to the list. (In death he has a name).
And also been removing various youghurt flavours from the universe.
Cant beat a good bit of silly irreverance in a fairly straight laced game :-]

I ran across Youghurt Strawberry last night. I'd assume in the galaxy there will be many duplicates, just as there are here on Earth. There was also Burns Toast and Kick The Bucket - and he did.
I should have some screen grabs on a different computer, but I haven't checked. And before reading this post, I generally didn't pay attention to NPC names. Now I'm routinely checking names when jump into a system.

Found Erotica Gallumbits and Beastly Fido (two times!).
Devs are fan of Adams (of course) and Circle MUD

I found 'Bracknell' at one point. As I live there I had no choice other than to do the decent thing and blow the ship up!
I also came across an NPC called Probably. That one made me wonder if the name engine in game is just picking random words from the dictionary

I'm pretty sure I saw Artemis Troll flying round once too
