Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I quit Mobius PvE Eurasia for ruining someone's fun today in the ongoing CG, can't remember their CMRD name but I'm really sorry.
I thought I was helping the CMDR with an NPC that was after their cargo... but the NPC was the mission target and I basically stole the kill...

Again I'm really sorry to the CMDR in the Python

So It's back to SOLO for me... if I can't be helpful I'm just in the way and I don't want that.

Accidents happen. It's something to keep in mind for next time, but accidental kill stealing is certainly nothing severe enough that would warrant you leaving the Mobius PG's.

Don't worry about it. Mission targets respawn. incessantly for this reason.

Hey, i wouldn't beat yourself up about it.

As someone above said, accidents do happen and ive certainly made mistakes - i once jumped into a haz rez, took a quick look and started firing at what i thought was a wanted NPC, turned out i was firing at another players ship launched fighter. I apologised, he graciously laughed it off and no harm was done!

I wouldn't quit the group over a simple mistake mate.

Helping people out in a RES was some of the funnest things I've done in game (helping NPCs too). But more than once I've accidentally shot another commander, or stole their kill. I'll blame the senors that initially show them as solids and then only resolve as hollow when they get closer. Some people get all pissy, but others will wing up. Anyway, it's nothing to quit over.

Make your apologies and if the CMDR gets pissy, apologise again and move to another system. If they are cool about it wing up and *profit*.

But don't leave the group for that, mistakes (aka "shit") happens.
