I was wondering if any one else has started a massive road trip?


I left LHS 278 4 days ago passed through ROHINI yesterday and I hope to get to RATRAII some time tommorow

1138 jumps might have been a mistake lol

I was doing a massive road trip from Rockford, Illinois to Kalispell, Montana then back to Rockford. It took about 5.5 days to complete, audio books come in handy on road trips.

Ohh you mean a "Star Trek", my bad. Lol

I did the 5k for Palin but that's it.
I'm waiting to see what the exploration update will bring and if it's good, I'll mount an expedition somewhere.

Well I left Azrael on the 15th Oct, visited a number of nebula on the way to Colonia, dropped in on the MCRN and Jaques, then went to Sag A*, then onto Beagle Point, now about 8K from Sag A* on my way back home.

I am now 300 jumps away 2/3 of the way

I learned from my first leg that I needed to strip weight I was under 18 FSD and had a 1a fuel scoop and a large 3C Fuel Tank

I found a starport and swapped for a 3C fuel scoop and a 1c fuel tank and all D components

Now I have 23 FSD and I can fill my tank in a fraction of the time I could before.

Still slow but 56 jumps an hour is far better than the 38 I was getting

the real fun part is I have to go back when I am done lol
