Have a question, something I've been curious about for a long time...

As I do some of these missions, I get nano-breakers as a "reward", now I've just been selling them at whatever station I'm currently at.
What effect does selling them to a station that does not supply or demand them have? Sometimes I just jettison to the unknown.

They used to be used in some engineering blueprints, but not any more. Just sell or jettison them - there's nothing special about them any more.

If you sell them at a station that does not have a demand for them, you will simply get less money for them, and that's all there is.

It used to be the case that there was also a small reduction in the influence of the owning faction, but it's possible that this is no longer true.
