Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I have over a million in my Cobra MK III, so I did not earn my first million cr this morning, but it is my first million saved up and untouched.

I am glad I discovered this PVE world, as I was getting very frustrated being killed out of the blue by space thugs, or being attacked and having to outrun them, etc, and that was just AI in solo mode.

I was wondering if there are AI ships in the game while signed in with M-PVE, or if it is only the people who are actually signed in that are flying.

I certainly hope there are no AI going about shooting folks while in M-PVE mode, because they keep me stressed out.

But, if there are not psycho AI thugs in PVE, and everyone respects each person playing in their own way, it will be my dream game.

Firstly, congratulations on your first million in the bank.

Secondly, unfortunately for you the AI is ubiquitous to all modes of the game, and is just as psychotic in M-PVE as anywhere else. The Mobius groups means that you should never meet another player who wants to kill you, but there is nothing we can do about the NPCs, and lets face it the Bounty Hunters in our groups wouldn't have much to do if there weren't criminal NPCs to kill.

And the AI who come after you in this game, at least for the start is a bit like being chased around by three year olds armed with nerf bats.
Inow, not a huge threat if you know which side of the gun the bullets come out of.

I know a three year old I suspect may be from Hades, naw, they'd be scared of him.

Aaron T, why are they after you? I mean, is it for your cargo, or in conflict zones or RES, or just missions?

be careful when you do missions. some give you commodities in your cargo as reward and you may not pay attention. then you'll be pirate bait as soon as you exit the station. So, mind that and sell/jettison what you don't need if you get interdicted by pirates and have an empty hold, they will just scan you and go away

Missions, I guess I can discard my stuuff.

I escaped from an AI thug last night.

What I am going to love about M-PVE is having an experienced friend join me in my ship and show me the basics of using a fuel scoop, and gathering stuff and then selling it, etc, without some redneck thug in open world come harass us, so I can actually focus and learn.
