Engineer it for lightness on modules and you can get it higher. I am sure 40 would be golden rolls on everything that you could do max. But again golden rolls where you drop mass on thrusters and stuff. I would say from the looks of the rolls I got in game, 37 would be tops with no drops in mass on the heavier modules.

I thought that was what I did?
I'm not used to the shipyard though.
Or are you talking about "hidden" secondary effects on the optimal mass?

Yep. Roll on a Power Plant and you get a surprise mass drop. happens on weapons too sometimes.

I hated it at first but now I'm getting used to it and like it as my flying fortress cargo hauler.

Got it mostly G5 engineered, with 4 large efficient pulse turrets, 2 medium efficient/1 medium overcharged MC turret and two small long range gimballed cannons. I can haul 400 tons of cargo without having to fear anything in PvE. And it has this flying fortress feeling. Did even some runs in open without getting rekt

The big three can do everything better of course, but I'll self-restrict myself to one ship per type. And I have a Explorer-Conda and a battle-'Vette and no rank for Cutter, so hauling is T-10 territory for me. And it's ok.

At the moment I have an A rated engineered Conda which I call my Combat Conda (CC) to differentiate it from my trading Conda. I can't have the other two big ships due to my rank. I am thinking of buying the Type 10, A rating and engineering it as a possible replacement to the CC, although for a while I would run them side by side to be sure. When I am using my CC I feel almost indestructible in the haz rez or cnb, will the Type 10 make that much of a difference? I don't want to buy one just for the experience, only if there is a clear improvement?

I want to kick some ass. Image

It's worse than the big three (Conda, Vette, Cutter). So it would be an downgrade imho.

Yep. Much worse.

Type 10 buyer's remorse will be a thing in the new year.

Nope.

It's actually brilliant.
It just tends to reveal who's a shit pilot or not cause the thing takes a little skill versus a conda.

Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.

Well I guess I'm a shit and unskilled pilot and you're superman. You must be very pleased with yourself.
