Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Ok, there are plenty of stations/outposts within the "powerplay" bubble. But, as one traverses the great unknown, no settlements? I would
think someone would take advantage of the idea of not having to answer to a "superpower" and build a station or outpost in one of these
uncontrolled solarsystems, I definitely would...

Believe it or not, but not everone lives in or near a major city or metropolis or even a suburb. Some people live in very rural areas, what I call the "boonies".

Elite Dangerous world very much likes to be the space equivalent of the New York Bronx, where Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Jamaicans,
Haitians live on top of each other and squabble with oneanother. I think space is too vast for that to actually happen. I think having two
"superpowers" next to eachother is OK, but all of them clumped together?

You do realise you are asking a video game to make sense right?

I don't know how up-to-date this is BUT I found this list of occupied systems outside the bubble that might help you.

However it's lacking when it comes to Maia, where I've spent a lot of time. There's far more occupied systems there than this list depicts.
Also there is Colonia, which I believe to be an expanding series of occupied systems much nearer the Galactic core, but I've not made it there yet. Maybe this weekend!

Apparently some of the asteroid bases are outside of the bubble, and then of course there is Colonia which has a whole bunch of different groups, and just a quick 22k ly away.

Remember of course that the Frameshift Drive only became publically available in 3290, so the rapid traversing around the galaxy that we take for granted is still relatively new.

Thank you for this! I'm always out exploring so this will come in handy, and also maybe give me some destinations to check out.

I've been to an asteroid base in the Seagull nebula and a couple in the Lagoon nebula. I hear there's a few on the way to Colonia.

By no means an exhaustive list. There are many systems not being extorted by the galactic mafia - and they're not all 22KLy away.
