what happens if you select one of these systems you have bookmarked in the bubble and plot route to them?

It just hangs on 'plotting route' - just tried plotting to one 500 ly away and it couldn't calculate it.

Very frustrating when you have huge distances to cover.

I tried plotting as far as i could towards the center, and it took about 20 seconds to trace the route.

it used to be super slow before the 2.4 update when the star field was dense but now it shouldn't be an issue.
What you could do to make it faster is to unselect any non - main sequence star where you can't fuel scoop.. it will give the route planner less routes to calculate and could speed the thing up.

Here's my filter for example :

Just tried again and it did it all the way to Gru Hypue KS-T d3-31. They must have improved a few things since I last flew.

Still a lot of jumps! Best get going ...

basically they completely reworked the plotting algorithm. so it's waaaaaaaaaay faster, and the plotting distance limit went from 1000 to 20000 light years.
So you could plot once to the bubble and just focus on hard-assing to there :P
