So I've made a costly mistake

As you may have guessed but the title I made a big mistake a 21.2 ish million credit mistake and lost my ASP-X so now i'm 167.53 ly from Azreal in a rented Sidewinder I will never fly without rebuy again

Just as long as you only do it once!
Knowing how the game works means that you're able to make the credits you want much faster than the first time around, so chalk it up as a life lesson.

Yep you have my sympathy. Pointless saying its your own fault as clearly you realise that, as Globusdiablo says live and learn. Not putting myself up to be a smart ass, but flying without insurance is something I have never done. In fact I have never bought a ship or upgraded it unless I had the credits for insurance x 2. I always thought if you take the ship out and lose it with only insurance x1, you are immediately in a situation of having to use a cheaper ship or risk it.

Lost a Corvette for accidental discharge in the no fire zone that somehow struck a t6..
That was about 29 mil.

Flying without insurance = Knob........
But you only do it once......If you are sensible............

Then accidentally fired a volley of my cannons while looking straight at a hauler...
