I decided not to engage in any combat missions until my new joystick arrives, as my current one is showing a bit of a delay and I don't want to risk losing the ship while I am carrying a lot of exploration data for oom, but that's besides the point.
I took on a passenger sightseeing mission 5700ly away from my home base of Vequess. Now my AspX has a range of close to 50ly and so the average jumps I make are 47ly. Also I guess I average 45 to 50 jumps an hour when in full swing as I have a quick glance to see if there are any interesting looking planets to scan. However at the start of the mission it was showing me as needing 350 jumps to my destination. After 1 hour and 40 minutes play, it shows me as being 5300ly away from my destination but now down to 125 jumps away. Its showing Vequess as being 37 jumps away (I forgot to make a note of the distance to Vequess.). Its difficult to judge, but visually on the map everything looks as you would expect. Nothing adds up!
Is there a known bug. I had a glance on the ED forums and could not see anything.
