Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I must say, I see in ed forums there are plenty of ppl that want to join the thargoids. I see ppl in Mobius join the Thargoids? it's KOS in my book. How does management feel about this? Is there going to be Mobius directed teams against thargoids? Please point me to the team EFFORT.

From a RP perspective, it might be fun to blur the lines and fight with the Thargoids against a shadowy, black ops Fed/Imp section.
[can't see it though, but deep for FDev, that lol]

Management will shrug and say "as you were". We are a cooperative and at most, when necessary, a loose militia to serve our interests. Otherwise we do as we please

We cant strategie about what to do until they get here.

I'm sure if The Order of Mobius was threatened it would organise against the Thargoids to protect its interests, however The Order is a very specific situations, beyond that the Mobius private groups are a mode in which to play, not a shared collective.

However, in a number of the official Elite story books two types of Thargoids are mentioned, the Oresrians, and the somewhat more aggressive Klaxians, so maybe there will be some siding with one of them?

I'm with whatever side that wants too kill humans.

I'm up 20k+ kills already so the thargs got some catching up to do.

Call me an idealist ...go on...

But I see an opportunity to kill two (maybe one) offensive bird here.

Thargoids against Belugas. One a peaceful fun loving flower and one an ignorant, stupid divergent side-race of humanity.

Being able to side with one of the Thargoid factions would be so awesome i am pretty sure it won't happen.
Political intrigue? Engaging the alliance in a storyline? even.. uhh... roleplaying???
Nah.. 2.4 will just be a boring war to please the kiddos in their bufftan ships

I hope very much that this new update will not be another in the long line of combat centered ones..
