Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Despite my extensive friendslist, and in-game tab showing friends playing in private group, I haven't seen a single green friend icon on the galaxy map. Is it broken?

Or is no one flying in the new group?

I have been in it a few times but still mainly in the main Mobius group to be honest. Not sure about others.

Got accepted for the new group this week (thanks guys) and have seen my small list of CMDR's between "OG" Mobius and a few Private Group.
Had a wee jump over to Mobius pve Eurasia and I'm getting the Green Space Friend icon so I would say its ok.

I'll be sticking to the old group until the big man does the Dignitas on it.

It'll take time, there's still less than 1000 people in it.

I experience the same thing - I have more green dots in OLD Mobius and extremely few in the new one
Guess I'll stick to the original until "my dots" moved.

I know.. we just started with it, but..

the new group MOBIUS PVE EURASIA works OK!

but.. there's something that lots of CMDRs don't seem to understand..

Remember:

It's a huge galaxy!
If you're not at a very popular location, then the chance to see someone else is very very small..

Of course you can improve your chance meeting other CMDRs and winging up by joining the MOBIUS Discord server

There are the text chat channels, used for chat but also to share info and requesting/offering help and also to share the most amazing screenshots of beautiful and sometimes silly things

And.. of course the voice channels, because voice is way faster than when you have to type in everything
(and you don't want to do that while gaming, right?)
The voice channels are used for chatting and/or for working together while being in a wing and there's even a special one for Twitch/Youtube streamers

How do you get on the MOBIUS Discord Server?
Just follow the 3 steps:

1. Download link for: DISCORD
   (because the web version of Discord has some bugs, it's better to install Discord on your computer and/or smartphone)
   
2. Invite link for the: MOBIUS Discord Server
   
3. meet other MOBIUS CMDRs

I'm mainly flying in Mobius PvE Eurasia now. Although I have noticed that I get better drops for RNGineer mats in the old Mobius (?). Maybe RNGesus hasn't found me in the new group.

I recently got 2 Friends invites shortly after joining EURASIA, whenever those are online I see them just fine.

I take it the transition is still too new and the new Group just doesn't have so many members yet (812 as of now).
Once that Group approaches 20k, it should be just like the classic (full) Mobius Group.

PS.
After thousands of hours in Open, decided for a "complete change", now a dedicated PvE Player (EURASIA) and should arrive in Colonia today.
