First time with an SLF pilot

At the time of writing its 4 days after my last post. I am now standing at Expert 75% and the SLF is 12% Dangerous. I can guarantee that all kills have been a fully shared effort. So I gain 55% at Expert level and the SLF goes from Harmless to 12% Dangerous for the same number of kills.

I read somewhere that SLF pilots rank up about 10x faster than human pilots, but I have a feeling it must be a little more than that?

Yes, it is much more than ten times faster, but there is a second aspect: Kills of higher ranked enemies give more experience than kills of enemies of same or lower rank. As the rank of the enemies being spawned is based on your rank of expert, the kill is much valuable to a harmless/mostly harmless SLF pilot than it is to you.

Point in case: In the time it took me to climb from 35% deadly to 78% deadly, my SLF pilot went from harmless to elite.
