Don't really need to be welding or metall work.

If you can bang two pieces of wood together you are halfway there.
This is my setup atm.
Image
Just two pieces of 2x4" stuck to the wall.
Two bits of pre-cut shelf boards that I rest and attach to the 'wall mount' and a leg from leftover 2x4" for front support.

Granted it is both pretty permanent and not so pretty..

Only problem is with the pedals I often jostle my chairs position. The carpet helps, but I should be able to sort it out by getting some carabiner hooks and chain so I can securely latch the chair to the support.

Hey I'm Thor -
People call me Bob.

Rule 1: Pillage. Then burn.
Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.

I'll try and remember to post mine tomorrow, it's pretty generic and don't really have room to do what you've done, which is pretty creative. I suppose I could use wood to do what I want, I'll have a think

*sigh* You midgets and your monopolization of the chair market.

There is just far too little support for the people who enjoy the correct height of 6'6" (198cm) and want a nice computer chair. :D

I actually chose the mid back chair on purpose. Simply so there were no restrictions to looking up and leaning back on my Oculus Rift. I have a different chair for 'office' stuff. This is the commanders chair

My Gods... I need to update. After 3 hours playing I feel the 'pains' as my chair is just a standard wooden one with a car seat cover over the top. Clearly I've invested too much money in the PC specs and not enough in comfort. Hell even my table is a kids study table; clearly no room for pizza and coke. *sigh*

3 hours? you're good :) i wouldn't have lasted 15 minutes in that ^^'

It's time to fly to the IKEA system to unlock Alv Gudbjörn, the desk engineer.. he only as one unlock requirement, that you walk the whole shop for a desk lamp.. As for materials, it's usually Visa, Mastercard and cash, for all upgrades.
