Two down one to go. Well almost two, I have the credits to buy the combat Annie, but want to wait and buy it after I have got my first Elite rank. I don't want to get distracted from that by going off in search of my new ship, however I have a question.

I remember reading that you can have as many shield cell banks as you want but when you trigger it they all trigger at the same time, and that a work around is to disable them all except one until this has been corrected. Does anyone know if this has been corrected or do we still use the work around?

You can fire multiple SCB's at the same time, but it's going to get a little warm inside your ship. I keep my secondary SCB's banks turned off and just use one at a time. Some guys fire two SCB's at a time with a heat sink.

I thought they had fixed it so if you do have more than one, they fire like heat sinks and chaff.
First one, then the other, then the first again for each button push.

But also SCB's at least those big enough worth having draw a lot of power and keeping non used banks in powered means you can still go all out on weapons and shields.

Also they are effing heavy, and although it's not a huge impact it is an impact to manouverabillity when piling on heavy modules.

I have however personally gone back to my thermal resistant bi-weave dogma, unlike with regular a grade shields and especially prismatics they recharge so quick I don't really use cells unless I take on multiple hostiles.

Humm..... I hadn't heard about that, but it's entirely possible. I haven't tried to use two SCB's at once in a loooong time.

Well I can't say too sure, because of the same.
And I normally have to disable the scb's I don't intend to use for power management reasons.

I use two on my vette with corresponding heat sinks. If I hit the button for either it only fires off one unit per press.
