any one notice the landing greeting plays when departing?

I just noticed that when leaving a station the landing greeting 'welcome commander , yadda yadda.. ' plays when i depart.
When i land no greeting...
Any one else notice this?

Oh yes!
Firstly I though something was odd, then I realised I was hearing the landing greeting when launching.
Another patch coming ... Please.

Frontier are aware of it. There was a small patch yesterday but that was to fix v-sync and screen-tearing.

Best place to look for bug reports is the
Frontier forum. Fixes are a little harder, various server-side fixes go in during the weekly maintenance on Thursday with little to no announcement. Your best source of information for these is using one of the developer posts RSS feeds.

I've been getting a slightly different symptom with sound. At first I thought I had somehow managed to switch off station announcements but then I turned my volume up high.
Station announcements are sounding very quietly, with a metalic echo like someone is talking down a drainpipe at me. I wonder if it's part of the same issue?

My main bug bear at the moment is the fps drop when dropping out of witch-space. I'm using a PS4 Pro, so am a little disappointed. However, the fps is fine during game play.

How is the screen tearing? I saw a couple of videos they other day and it looked practically unplayable
EDIT: Nevermind, just saw your post about the patch for the fix
