info? (System map icon help)
anyone know what it means when there is just an "X" in the system map? first time running across this

Actually, I think that's just the barycentre for the main stars in a binary system. The X probably isn't selectable as it's just an empty point in space.

I was thinking about that as well, but I thought I saw some occlusion of the lines that seemed like a singularity so I went with it.
