Griefers must be bored tonight

Postby Lanceor » Mon May 08, 2017 10:23 am

Looks like they found another way to demonstrate what lovely, friendly folks they are.

This is happening in Open so it won't affect you unless you're using Open to refresh missions like I was. Several griefers (some of whom were kicked out of Mobius) are currently camped inside Jeffries Station in Quince, scanning everyone they can.

For those who don't know what that means, at Quince, you can pick up a lot of passenger missions for quick money. Many of these passengers are wanted, so being scanned multiple times causes the mission to fail instantly, even while you are still in the hangar.

What a shame - if these clowns could use their intellect and creativity for something good, we might have found a cure for cancer by now, or unified quantum mechanics and special relativity, or found a means of world peace. :geek:

Very little game time, but often chatting at work.

They are people with a lot of free time on their hands. Keep calm and move on.

Oh, they're just performing a service pointing out the poor game design...

...because it affects them so much that they can't play like a human until it's fixed.
It's time to give this another go.

You put far too much stock in their cleverness.

If they did as you suggested the best they would be able to come up with would most likely be a beer hat with tablet/phone holder, allowing for semi-handsfree viewing of redtube.com.

People call me Bob.

Rule 1: Pillage. Then burn.
Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.

I think exiting to the Desktop is as good as exiting to the Main Menu takes a little longer. Or as some players with dual licenses - exit to Desktop then load ED 32/64 Bit select missions pop back out then load Horizons.

there is a good reason we refer to these types as the unaffiliated advertising department of Mobius, every time they do something like this we get more members. its the opposite of what they claim to want, its funny.

And then they'll be the first to complain that there is no one in open, but will never understand that they are the reason.
