Pirate Station sounds

Anyone else notice that when around or docked at pirate stations there is a different, very awesome and almost "evil" sounding horn or scanner going off? Any idea if this is real or just my imagination? Definitely sounds like a pirate type noise. Adds some immersion for me

That sound actually freaked me out a little bit when I first heard it.

It's almost like a scream sound. I definitely dig it. I've noticed it before many times but I have just become active in the community so I wanted to ask. Can't get enough of this game.

It is a scream sound and you can get a sample of it, on the soundtrack on Deezer. The sound really helps to set the mood.

If you land on a tourist outpost and stay very quiet, you can sometimes hear thumping dance music.
A for the pirate one, it bugs me a little bit

I think those sounds are why the original occupants abandoned the outposts in the first place.

CMDRs are such a superstitious lot. Any station administrator could tell you it's just the reactors venting coolant.
