My preferred Python loadout was always one Plasma Accelerator under the nose, two large beams, and two multicannons. I can imagine, as JL said, with three beams and if they're not engineered efficient beams, yeah, it'll get pretty toasty.

The upside to the Python is with that A-rated power plant, you can load pretty much anything you want without power trouble.

Reading peoples good advice here I decided to decommission the DBX and gave myself the morning off working for OOM to change my AspX from A rated to D rated, (apart from the FSD of course).

I did buy the 6A fuel scoop after I picked myself off the floor at the nearly 29 mill price tag. I am not sure I want a ship that takes class 7 or 8 now, probably not enough credits in FD to buy an 8A lol

The 6B fuel scoop is nearly as fast as the A and a whole lot cheaper. Something to consider.
