Passengers demands, your thoughts please

Just wondering how most of you deal with passenger demands. I now simply refuse due to my first ever passenger mission, but maybe I just had bad luck. On my first ever passenger mission they requested some goods (can't remember what now), but I stopped at six different stations to try and fill the request and could not find any. In the end I thought, I am going to get old doing this and what a waste of my time. Now I simply refuse immediately and take the drop in rep.

How do you deal with passenger demands?

Don't refuse them, just ignore them, no rep loss (at least prior to 2.3, not sure if still the case) and you can get on with your life.
Alternatively, if you want to get them the goods, use 3rd party tools like eddb in order to find a station close by that has the requested commodity.

Think you might find that post 2.3 you take a hit. I have already ignored one a couple of days ago, and upon landing at the final destination immediately got the message, "So you don't care about your passengers blah blah blah......". Still as long as the rep goes up a little, just not as much, I can live with that.

If you want to do them fine (good money) do them within the time, (I generally) avoid Crims.
As Lor said in many a post do not even read the messages from them until after you have delivered the dears.

Prob did a billy of them when FD allowed us to plot a course of more than one jump....
