Its awesome, and it makes things a world easier to just enjoy and feel immersed in the game.They use many famous people, Brent Spiner for one....many more...I chose Astra...they have a lot of voicepacks...even a dog and a cat...

Yes, VoiceAttack is a great piece of software and the voice packs from HCSVoicePacks.com are just lovely!

I thought about getting that, my buddy has one that says some funny stuff.

VA is a fantastic tool. Having access to my commands via voice made elite a lot more manageable in my early days. When I was still wondering how on earth I'd remember all the keybinds.

I started of writing my own. Then I discovered Ripley Galactic which was a free profile.
From there I found the HCS packs and now I own 14 of them lol.

My own favorite is Vasco, followed by Midnight. Cecil and Midnight combined give a rather strange experience. As Cecil doesnt really help with controlling your ship. He likes to get the drinks and talk a lot.

For anyone starting out Id recommend ASTRA. Simply because she has most extra themes plus the multi crew file. Having said that all the packs are good value and many will have you laughing out loud.

The HCS team also work incredibly hard updating the profiles for each update free of charge.

Not sure about responses, but you can add commands same way as regular with VA.

I wouldn't really recommend adding commands to the HCS profile, since you are want to update that as HCS does and or ED releases updates.

What I do, as suggested by Loriath, is that you can load an additional profile a long with the ASTRA or another profile.
That way you can keep one set of additional commands and keep your HCS pack updated without having to redo any work.
