Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Went to unlock bill turner last night.... Headed off into the ice rings and the rng gods where shining down on me!

Took me 3 hours to get 50 tonnes of brom not sure if that's good or bad. The yield was between 2% and 14% from approx 1 in 6 asteroids prospected

Now the gods of rng made low pressure diamonds my bonus... 18 of em I mined last night giving me just over 1 million credits - turned a grind into something worth while

Diamonds are a Commanders best friend.

RNG does occasionally shine on us all from time to time. Congrats!
Took me 4 nights to get my Brom for the engineer and got like 4-5 diamonds during the entire ORDEAL!

but recently I began harvesting mats for FSD range upgrades and on my first roll (50% being the max without 2ndary bonuses) got a +47% to my explo-connie, and on my 2nd roll for my aspX got a 52% role with bonus. RNGeezus does generally like to fk us in the ass often...... but occasionally a reach-around is given

Yeah, I've fallen foul to the bad rng roll many times, these few moments make you feel warm inside and worthwhile time spent

Nice rolls on the fsd's best I've had was +42% but my break in the brom last night was from grinding G5 fsd range materials which I've now got enough stocks to do 50 rolls fingers crossed for rng God rolls!

I was just thinking about going after the 50 tons of Brom.....please enlighten me on the location of the ring you found yours at????

What system??

You need to have the aloith system permit (Bill turners home) which is a pain in the ass... So make sure you have it before you haul your brom in - as for the ice rings, Jura is your friend, it was 6 jumps from aloith when I'd finished mining... Took me two trips as I ran out of limpets so I'd probably suggest carrying 85-90% of your cargo cap as limpets, and only mine diamonds and brom... No brom move on to the next asteroid

I had the permit for a long time.....was thinking about going to Hip 4005 7
