I am extremely disappointed with multi crew. I am either desynced all to hell or crash, losing everything! There is absolutely no point to the gunner position or the passenger other to give power. The only fun thing to do is to fly fighters. Too bad the A.I. are perfect shots with rail guns and smoke you instantly if they ever decide to attack the fighter. Don't even get me started with missiles. Oh and lets not forget the gimped rewards when it does decide to work! At least in that second video all "crew members" were having a good time!

Is anyone having issues inviting non-horizons friends to normal wings now? This does not even work anymore.

All I play with has horizons, but wings has been working normally.

Once they have gotten past all the other bugs.

Im hoping this is but a steping stone for multicrew I would imagine that they wouldnt want to introduce too many "roles" too early Once all and any bugs with networking and syncing are worked out Id imagine they will introduce new roles. ALSO if they put all the roles in now why would you pay for the next "season" (you gotta leave yourself something to sell later... )

What does the crew do in MC on a trade, mining, or exploration ship? I haven't tried to join one, but I can't imagine that there is much for the 2nd player to do.

About to try the feature mc... Some questions : what will happen to my own ship if i'm joining another cmdrs crew? Do i have to be docked?

You will log out of your ship, just like when you leave the game. It'll be safe and sound wherever you leave it. (I've left mine in a Haz-RES).

Okay. Thanks. Gonna try it. It would be a nice feature to "jump " into a ship (somewhere far away) and to enter the station with the helm cmdr and to be able to buy a new ship there.

Sadly doesnt work like that.

Your commander or whatever is strapping on the nerve gear and shoots the experience into some vr presence while holographic projectors give a representation of your form in the ship.

Question now, is.
If we have this tech to remotely control spaceships why are we flying in them at all?
Exposing ourself to all kinds of wierd aliens with power tools, to radiation, and super space herpes?
