Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

In beta I played around with the Holo-me feature and got a character that looked roughly likely me. So that left me with a character that looked like a an overweight white middle-aged man that could very easily be an IT manager and not a swashbuckling adventurer that has travelled the galaxy in search of fame and fortune.

I'm not going to get to try 2.3 in live until Friday so when I do I'm wondering what to do with Holo-me. Do I go real world, real world with a scar and a cyborg eye or all out totally someone else?

What's everyone else doing?

I'm going to try and get as close to me as I possibly can. It has never been done in any game with character customization though, so we will have to see.

If I can't then I'll just make one that looks cool instead of close lol.

I am OldSkool, so I don't need to dress up my CMDR like a Barbie doll to feel good!

Messed a bit with it, create a guy who could be me if I was living in the Elite universe. My artistic skills are crap though so he's quite ordinary in appearance.

My artistic skills are 'non-optimal' as well. I tried to draw a cat once and was told it looked like a beanbag with claws.

With the Holo-me though it's sliders. I can do sliders.

I have many games where I make the character look like me... if we're talking about "me" being played by some hollywood actor in better shape and more attractive that maybe I could be a stunt-double for.

In beta I ended up looking like an old.....Widow peaked....No 1 cut.......Grey haired......Stubble faced.......Grumpy old fucker.......
