Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hello,

This is my understanding of the game modes..
1. Open: Open, play with everyone
2. Solo Online, no players just AI/npcs. Really just AI? And does it save my cash so I can play in other modes?
3. Play with friends or Groups (everyone?, and sometimes group members?)

I've noticed the online group play is bugged at the moment (not sure how 1.02 changed it)

More questions,
1. Ts is empty(2-10people maybe), but we have 1500+members?
2. I've noticed some people killing players, I thought PVE meant no player killing?

Only AI and you, and yes everything is saved/shared across all modes.

When you play in the Mobius group, you are playing with the members here. It's a group so we share the space with each other. The matchmaking is indeed a bit broken. To get a better chance to meet Mobius group members it is advices to become friends in game (see the members friends list on the Members only section here). That way the Matchmaker will put you all together (most of the time).

Be sure to get the ts.elitepve.com one, it's fairly busy in the European evening! But not everyone is on TS!

People don't kill people here on the Mobius group. Only NPC's will kill humans. Are you sure it was a human player and you were playing in the Mobius group?

I can vouch for the friends suggestion.

When we did the groups first Twitch session, the games currently buggy matchmaking didn't place me in the same island as many of the other assembled commanders.

Each time I saw a fellow Commander, I sent a friend request and most (if not all) were accepted. Then as we jumped instances from station to supercruise to hyperspace to Nav beacons (sending more friend requests along the way) I eventually ended up with the majority of the 20 or so Commanders having a real blast.

FD will fix the matchmaking, hopefully giving private groups similar priority to friends so stick with it
