Multiple groups for different time zones?

Postby GlobusDiablo » Tue Mar 28, 2017 9:36 am

So it's getting a bit messy. Mobius group is full, Mobius PvE is getting there, and how long before the pacific one is full?

Should/can Mobius make multiple groups for the different time zones?

Or should FD just go ahead and implement that PvE mode?.... ;)

That was the original intent for Mobius PvE. Mobius group was for EU, and PvE was for the Americas. But our popularity has continued to swell by leaps and bounds, so we had to shut off new membership to Mobius group entirely a few months ago, and only offer membership in PvE.... until the AsiaPacific group opened recently.

We're just too darn popular, and as a result.... we simply must have multiple groups.

Indeed. But we now need multiple Mobius groups and multiple Mobius PvE groups... Sheesh. :)

Or Fdev could just give us basic community tools in game that so many others have so we can clean out inactive members or (le gasp) read those lists alphabetically......

FDEV could play a more active role in all of this, giving groups like MOBIUS the much needed told to manage the group.

For some unknown reasons working on projects like "dressing up your CMDR like a Barbie doll" seems to have a way higher priority for Frontier..

Anyway, just remember that all the different MOBIUS groups are not there to annoy "us". Even when you're not in the same groups, you can already use the MOBIUS forum & TeamSpeak & Discord to meet others and create/use your own private groups to wing up.

I absolutely agree. Creating your own Private Group is amazingly easy. Here's some info on it that I've shared on our discord channel (it's pinned on the "wingmates wanted" channel)

When looking for wingmates, sometimes you'll find others on at the same time as you, but they may not be in the same Mobius group that you're in. But....don't forget that you can make your own private group, so that you can wing up anyone in E-D! :)

It's super easy, even I can do it. Here's a link to some simple instructions:

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthrea ... vate-group

Setup your own private group and wing up often, guys and gals!
