Am I the only one?

Who enjoys flying around in an imperial eagle, or my new fdl, but then when I get back in my asp or Python - completely forgets that it doesn't stop as quick (as he overshoots the landing pad and dents the hood) and makes a fool of myself watching my shield light up like a plasma lightning ball :-/

Normally happens to me the first time I take off......
Thrust up.......Straight into the station.......

For me, it's usually a problem of shooting past planets that I'm used to flying straight at and braking using the mass effect.

You are not alone!.. Went from a Cobra/Asp to my new Python..... BRAAAAAAKES!...

WHY the hell do they make landing pads right at the entrance...
SO i slow ..
I enter, I look for my pad.. cant find it cuz im directly over it..
Get rearended by the Type 9...
Get fined for recless driving.. , get dents.. get fined for recless driving again.. Get yelled at for stalling at entrance...

You probably know this, but in case you don't.
When you enter the station, the little target/navigation compass thingy shows where your pad is. If it solid it's ahead, hollow behind, as well as showing if it's above, below, to the left or right, etc...

I very very almost smashed right into the side of the outgoing mailslot when I changed from my Rattaconda to my old dusty Freagle after ages ... boy does that bird react fast.

Nope, the asp especially is really slow to decelerate.
The Python I don't really have a problem with, but I have spent far more time in it than the asp.

OMFG!... Life just got easy.. No i did not know this.. I have been cussing this game since i got it for this one reason alone..
