Making a run out to Colonia. Questions

Congratulations with your systems.
You realise that you have to fly up to the bodies to really scan them in order to get your name on it?
I bookmark the systems with an earth like world.

Due to my roundabout I did not see any scanned body in 20.000 LY, it pay's off but what I did is a little overkill, on my way back I go some few hundred LY left or right and then head for the bubble.

It pays out to do some research, even without engineering you can get over 30 LY jump.

SO, i got 1600ly out from the bubble.. and im turning around..
Another Fuel scoop accident and im damaged.. my AMFU has got me up and running... but my jump range is suffering.

Im goan do some engeneer upgrades on my drive and lighten my load.

How ever! i found two new WHOLE! undiscovered systems. one had a earth like system. I hope my Scan stuff really pays off, im using an advanced scanner so i got all of the bodies i found....

Do you know about the outposts on the way to Colonia? They can help break up the journey and allow you repair your ship in case of any little accidents.

Thanks Dree!, and yes!.. I scanned the hell out of them up close! My retun gross for scans was over 400k.

I find the above invaluable for looking up the way out there stations, especially when you are out for weeks or months and dreamin' of screamin' about in a ViperIII when you eventually get to Colonia.

I found Colonia fantastic but on my way home to Cemiess after a month there to engineer up the ships I want to use when I go back out there.

Update..

Im running hard and fast to beat the deadline.
I am 2300LY Past Eagle Landing, What a journey..Im trying to thread Gagarin and Sacagawea and Bline for colonia.

I found my space legs...
Im blasting through systems at an average of 38 seconds from Jump exit to enter.. Honk scoop as i skim just alittle..
Runing a 6A scoop on the Aspx.. its insane.. I can get a 1/4 of a tank is a linear fly by..

Found 1 possible earth like, descritpion said earth like water world, but it was amonia atmo.. confusing.

Keep yall up to date where i end tonight.. If i can get past Gagarin.. im good if not..
May have to call into work..
