perfect timing for me.. I have to work late today
oh well.. I'll just put the cash in my oculus rift account.

It's been emotional that is for sure. The initial brilliant bug free launch of Alpha, followed by the bug ridden Beta onto Gamma and now today is finally it. The full and proper release of what is hopefully the start of something very special.

I am trying to keep clear of the forums for a couple of days. I have a feeling that loads of duplicate whining threads will be created along the lines of, where is the I win button, this isnt a MMO, why cant I have 3rd person view

I have to say the main Frontier forums are pretty quiet at the moment. They have also re-opened the Alpha forums so if you backed at Alpha level you get real peace and quiet!

The official forum is nowhere near as scathing as I expected. People actually posting how smooth everything is running.

I've upgraded to 1.0 but have decided to treat myself to a cheeky beer to mark the occasion before I get in the cockpit, so I'm having to walk to the shop first.

The real world... weird.

I can't wait to meet all the Mobius group Commanders out there.

Oh woah is me, I'm still in poxy work until 6:45, then I gotta walk home which will take another 20 mins. Knowing my luck I won't have time to play tonight and it'll be at version 1.1 by the time I do.

Most of the time I sit on my coach waiting for my passengers to come back, which can take up to three hours. I need a decent laptop, with a good battery and a neat tethered mobile connection. I'd practically love my job then.
