Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

So, as a new trader in my fancy new T6, I want do do some long hauls(relative), but i would love to hire an escort Player to watch my 6.
So how would i do this? and how do you pay fellow players? with an agreed upon contract?

There is no formal way to do this, but you could try posting in the Wing Commanders section.

As for payment, well if you are in a wing then your wingmen get credits equal to a percentage of your profits (you don't get any less), or you can simply drop cargo (abandon) for them to pick up and sell

If you trade in a wing, they should get a payout once you dock and sell at a station, as long as they are in the local system with you. At least, that's how it was for me. Really easy way to boost newbs up, is to let them do a run with a Cutter on point. They can make a mil in no time, through profit share.

Do the wingmen get anything if one does a mission to haul commodities from X to Y ?

No, not from Missions.

Strait Trade they do.

So wings share in Bounties, Share in kills in a CZ, share when straight Trading, and apparently (never tried it) they would share in Exploration though the requirements are much higher (Wing has to be in the same system when scanned, and same station when sold, but only the person who scanned can get first scanned by bonus).

Wing trading can be very helpful when you get to larger ships. We have had 3 of us in Cutters running high dollars per tonne with the fourth in a 200 cargo Python. The cutters where 700+ tonnes and we were making 4500 per tonne. The Python Cmdr. was making as much from the bonuses as he was from his own trades.

The most effective is Haz Res hunting. UNLESS you can get a CZ with good paying kill missions.

FD have stated that WING missions are in the works, but no timeline.


As far as paying wingmen for the help above the trade bonus, transferring a few canisters of High Dollar goods might be the only way. SRV transfer on planets or poop and scoop in space, though Limpets are much faster.

It's a good idea being able to enlist commanders for this task, I remember loosing 3 type 6's in a row and came close to bankruptcy with the cost of the stock and insurance - would being in a wing guarantee an interdiction from winged npc tho or would you still get lone wolves trying it on.. Be good flying shotgun on a protection role, good for RPing

The Interdiction chance is RNG. Higher for a wing hitting a wing. All based on Ranks.
