Asp Explorer cost

Postby RogueZephyr » Tue Sep 23, 2014 1:42 pm

I know it might be a little early for such information to be released, but has anyone heard any rumors about how much it will cost to buy?
-I fly the ocean black, and my little ship goes warp 10-
-Theres nothing that we lack (unless theres something we've forgotten)-

A quick guess from me would be more than a Lakon 6, and less than a 9. How's that for vague?

Thats not as vague as I was expecting :P. It at least gives me some sort of yard stick to aim for until the official cost is released.

I'm expecting something around the 2 mil mark given its size and supposed 'teeth'. It'll be interesting to see though. One thing is sure, I don't think I'll be able to afford it yet! :)

Trading at the moment. I'm in a T6 with just under a million credits in the bank. I need much, much more practice fighting but find I'm not getting much time in the game right now. A couple of trade runs now and then are manageable.

The L6 is my favourite.

Have you tried the Aulin-Wyrd run? Works for me. Nothing fancy though. But easy peasy. :)

I've found that what used to be stable trade runs are now much more dynamic. I shipped 100 tonnes of terrain enrichment systems to a system (wish I could remember which one!) for 1400cr profit each, but when I tried again, would have only made 200cr profit. I ended up hauling them all over the place, trying to make a decent amount...hence the reason I can't remember where I was trying to sell them!

I'll have a look at the Aulin-Wyrd run...thanks for the tip.

Iam hauling goods between Asellus primus and Ross 1051.

Take Resonating separators from Asellus to Ross and Indium from Ross to Asellus
A round trip use to net me about 250-300k in an Lakon 6 ship.

Note that its about 14.4 LY between those 2 so Ross 1051 will not show up on your list for valid routes.
So you have to select that system from the Galaxy map and keep fuel at 100% to be able to do the jump.

odd is that from Asellus shows up as a valid jump route from Ross.

I found that sometimes a destination you’re able to reach doesn’t appear in the possible destinations list of the left side panel, apparently because the size of that list is limited. In this case, you can set your destination from the Galaxy map to work around the problem.
