The time has come.

I am going to refit my trusty T6 for exploration and head out into the darkness, perhaps never to return. I am using the T6, as it's what I have and has room for the kit I will need, thought I would post here and see if any of you could offer me some valuable advice, tips and feedback.

Do you have any T6 fits to share with me, essential kit?

Feel free to shower me with wisdom before I leave.
:)

2 AFMUs so you can use either to repair each other if need be.

Someone on the FB group posted a pic, and they had a whole slew of heatsinks in a firegroup, most of them disabled? What was that all about?

https://coriolis.edcd.io/outfit/type_6_ ... lo%20build

Theres a quick thrown together build if money isnt an issue.
Surprised to see that the T6 actually has a decent base jump range.. Who'd a thunk it :P

Used to escape suns if you get too close. You only need one at a time but they only carry 2 shots per launcher, so multiple launchers are needed and you just switch between them as they run out of ammo (I cant remember if you can restock them using mats)

As for tips, I'm no seasoned explorer, I've been to Sagitarius A* before.

1) look where you are jumping to, there are some bad bad stars out there
2) throttle down before or just as you've entered the system
3) different planets make different sounds, there are animals sounds on earth-likes for instance
4) set a target, it helped me enormously to know where I was heading
6) binary or multiple stars on entry require new pants
7) enjoy yourself, it's not a race
8) mind your fuel
9) scoop at every scoopable stars, but mind your fuel
10) the fuel rats are just a call away

5? there is no 5!

Ah ha! That would indeed explain it. Funky.
