Chair Mod

Postby Penderin » Sun Dec 07, 2014 2:41 pm

My chair mod made from 2 old TV mounting brackets striped down and fixed to my chair.

They are fully adjustable and the HOTAS mounts with strong Velcro.

What do you think?

And the keyboard? Or is your setup completely keyboardless?

With the HOTAS and voice attack I don't use the keyboard but it is just in front of me on the desk if needed ;)

Good job and idea, Penderin. :) How is it stable and durable with these plastic armrests?

I guess time will tell but they don't move about at all even when I am over enthusiastic with my inputs :)

I've used pole mounted Vesa mounts for the same purpose after seeing some one post it on the ED forums and thought you'd done the same till I looked at your pic. Like the way you have them drilled in and it looks very good :)

Hope they hold up to some strenuous play, it is so much more comfortable to have the HOTAS at the end of the chair arms rather than on a desk.
