I presume there will be a full wipe and we will start again with a new eagle and the features in the mercenary edition....Skins and a decal etc.....

Doesn't seem clear if there will be a wipe or not. I hope that there is a wipe, good to all start out with nothing instead of those that have been able to put hours into the Gamma keeping their millions.

Saw that a guy on YouTube had an Orca since he found a bug to generate money - he didn't disclose what the bug was but he said that he'd filed it with Frontier.

With the exploits that some players have already found I think a reset is a given. Besides, as soon as Michael posted that there 'might' be a wipe for release, I figured that it was going to happen regardless. Whether there is or isn't going to be one, I've decided to restart my game on the 16th anyway. I've already wiped my character several times since Gamma started, so I can test the different KS tier levels, to see what type of equipment comes on the different starter ships, and to check out where the various spawn areas are across the galaxy.

I dont mind if there is a wipe, I havent played full on knowing that the game goes live on the 16th and prefer to hit it hard once its live and no wipes to come anymore. Quite a few took advantage of exploits to get a ton of credits and the big ships, so I think a wipe in inevitable - I just want the 16th to come, I so keen to get lost in the universe

Latest quotes from Michael appear to suggest that they are trying to avoid a wipe. Hopefully we will get a definative answer soon.
